Do what you can…

Hits: 11

While, all around, things are scary or worse, do what you will to succeed, to live your life. If your gig is to count whales, count them all! If your duty is to turn out the lights when someone else leaves the room, git ‘er done. If you chose to be the one to work late, just forget happy hour and finish the job. You will be better off for it. And do for others when we ourselves feel bereft of pleasure and wealth? You become wealthy when you share and give. We get what we choose to get; we take whatever we want, but we always get what we deserve.Take a moment and do it right. Your work and your life speak volumes. I am listening.

In a day or two, I will post those good old dry and boring statistics showing current absorption rates for Santa Fe residential real estate. There are other charts and spreadsheets here too, but that’s the one you tell me you want to see and value the most. So return soon for another report, please.

Meanwhile, what the heck is going on out there? Are you a little smug that some of those worldly problems are so far away? We have so much to be thankful for, although it seems as if the winds are against us at times. Tell me of a better place to live and work than Santa Fe, NM. Please tell me so I can move there and stake my claim. I’ll send you a postcard. Oh, by the way, would you consider running for a seat on the PRC? I think there will be a vacancy soon.

yeah, but what did he know?

The writer is a 68 year-old young man engaged as an active REALTOR (associate broker) with Keller Williams, in real estate sales and management in the Santa Fe NM market area. My career has been in and around the real estate industry for more than 35 years, ranging from mortgage lending (interim, commercial, residential); residential property management and leasing; shopping center development and leasing; real estate sales; sales training; title insurance as an executive and an escrow officer; various management positions; consulting and other related activities. That plus a bunch of banking experience including our family-owned Bank of Santa Fe in the 1980s. Where has the time gone?
My background means you have my working knowledge of the entire transaction process at your disposal. That comes with honesty and no bullshit.
